You can purchase a vehicle before an auction by searching for Buy It Now vehicles, or vehicles with the Make An Offer option.
If you didn’t win a vehicle but you still want to buy it after the auction, it may re-list if the sale isn’t successfully completed.
A first deposit will be make when a carrier has been assigned. The balance will be paid upon arrival or delivery. In some cases we may charge the full balance to your credit card.
For express pick up, we work closely with you to get the paperwork done, then proceed same day to get your purchase assigned to a carrier. We pick vehicles up during business hours. We also have a PRO Services available for quick shipment and timed shipment delivery.
Typical transportation is based from one location to another, this is solely based on the distance the vehicle needs to covered. For example, transport between New York and Los Angeles would take 7 to 10 days. Sometimes a sale isn’t successfully completed, such as when the high bidder doesn’t pay for the vehicle within 8 calendar days including the day of the sale, or the Seller doesn’t approve of the final bid. In such cases a vehicle is relisted for a future auction. A relisting fee of 10% of the final sale price or $600 – whichever is higher – will be charged by Copart.
This is a non=refundable fee that we charge all interested bidders prior to the bidding to avoid incurring the cost of a relist on Copart. The $600 is added to your final purchase payment if you decide to pay for the vehicle won.
Your vehicle is insured against transit damage caused by equipment failure or carrier negligence or car transport truck.

The answer is simple NO! However, for liability purposes, we strongly recommend that you have someone at the delivery location to sign off. If it is for export, the shipping company will receive the delivery.
